Ubah-khan drops a great offhand dagger too.
Does it really matter what boss, doing just a few full runs, usually sin daggers drop at some point. Even if they don't you'll a crap load of tokens. The meaningless posts about which t2 dagger is optimal is just nonsense, the answer is just get whatever weapon you can get until you finally get t4. Plenty of blue geared people running around with full t4 accessories and weapons, stand in Khemi for 2 minutes and you'll see it. So just go be a carry in some pug T4 and end of story :0

While you do that don't forget to use shiv in offhand and tickler in main hand cause not knowing how things work but having gear makes you a good player!Oh,if you don't have a ranged toon,a bs or a "protection tank" you re pretty much ****ed trying to play sin in an entity pug :P.Also ignore the first page posts in the thread talking about t4 daggers ,just pay attention to it after someone who hardly does pve or plays a sin says it !
I'm just saying, the differences between t2 daggers is nominal. Every time someone asks "the which is better" he comes the same crowd with the ridiculous parse information just to spectacle themselves. It doesn't take all that to see the dagger with critical rating is better than the one without, or which dagger is better as the offhand, you don't need 5 pages of selective parsing to do something which you can simply read on the task bar...or say plainly.
You people just confuse players who already seemed confused without explaining things simply when you wall of text all these numbers, which mean nothing to average players.

There are 2 random weapon drops at each Entity kill, and 16 weapons in its loot table. I can't remember seeing two of the same weapon drop at once, so I guess there is some kind of exclusive algorithm going on there. But now that is said, and given consideration lockout for looting Entity is once a week, for obtaining two T4 daggers it is 1/16th chance of looting a dagger each kill. Thats roughly 6,5% chance of one of the weapons being the Shiv. So in theory, you'll be doing Entity quite some time before the dagger will eventually drop. One can be lucky of course.
And the Tickler is pretty much inaccessible for people needing to rely on pickup group raids for taking down Emperor, where loot chance is the same story. I wouldn't be surprised to see six months of raids before both daggers could be obtained, unless the Sin is the only Sin in raid each time, which is unlikely.
The player could save up SR IV and get a Dragon Tear to buy the weapon. But at 120 SR IV, it would take 10 full clears (minus eventual urns won) to get enough relics for that, in process kinda blocking two big armor pieces.
Not correct. At least if you are talking about the chance of the Shiv dropping. That one would be 12,5%.
Assuming we have two weapon drop slots to be filled, sixteen weapons to fill them who drop with an equal chance, and an existing algorithm that ensures that the same weapon does not drop twice, we first calculate the chance of the shiv not dropping. That one would be 15/16 (first weapon dropped is not shiv) * 14/15 (second weapon dropped is neither shiv nor first weapon) = 87,5%. Which means the chance for the shiv to drop is 12,5%.
The chance to loot the dagger, though, might differ since there could be a second assassin in the raid who wants it just as much.
P.S: Oh, and to revive the above discussion, is the tickler really the better offhand? Shiv has more combat rating, while tickler has hate decrease and offhand rating...
